Taiwan Tech wins Ministry of Education’s Outstanding University Sports Award!

Taiwan Tech has been awarded the Ministry of Education's 113th annual School Sports Torch Award for Outstanding University. It was deeply recognized for excellence in sports education and research, organization, and participation in sports activities, administrative operations, and facility management.

Taiwan Tech is dedicated to technical and vocational education. To cultivate all-round technical and vocational students, Taiwan Tech focuses not only on curriculum and practical requirements but also on sports development. The university promotes physical education, enhances sports programs, and instills proper exercise knowledge and health concepts among students.

To foster a sporting culture among faculty and students, the university organizes the annual “Sincerity Cup” and “Freshman Cup” for various sports, along with a university sports day and road running event during the school anniversary to encourage the participation of teachers and students. Additionally, the university opens its sports facilities to the public, promoting resource sharing and social responsibility in sports education, aiming to enhance public interest in physical activity, develop healthy habits, and broaden the depth and scope of sports.
