In the 2024 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, Taiwan Tech is in the third place nationally and ranks first in international outlook

On September 27, the Times Higher Education (THE), a reputable British publication specializing in higher education, released the "2024 World University Rankings." National Taiwan University secured the 152nd position globally, making it the top-ranking institution in Taiwan. Meanwhile, Taiwan Tech featured within the range of 401 to 500 in the global rankings. It shares third position in the country with other esteemed institutions like Asia University, National Tsing Hua University, Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, and Taipei Medical University. Notably, Taiwan Tech excels in the "International Outlook" category, securing the top spot nationwide, underscoring its significant achievements in internationalization and receiving widespread acclaim.

The 2024 World University Rankings marked a milestone in the number of participating institutions, with a total of 1,904 universities from 108 countries and regions. The evaluation was based on 18 performance indicators, encompassing teaching quality, research standards, research environment, international outlook, and industry engagement across five major domains.
