Global Views Monthly's best universities ranking: Taiwan Tech leads Taiwan's technical and vocational education sector.

Global Views Monthly released the “Taiwan Best Universities Rankings” on July 2. Taiwan Tech maintains its position as the top technical and vocational university. It also ranks first in the “Medium and High Budget Group” for overall institutional performance, third in “Engineering, Manufacturing, and Construction”, and fifth in “Information and Communications”. It ranked among the best in many indicators, highlighting Taiwan Tech's outstanding academic achievements.

In the evaluation of comprehensive universities, Taiwan Tech has risen one spot from last year, tying with National Central University for sixth place nationwide, following National Taiwan University, National Cheng Kung University, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, National Tsing Hua University, and National Sun Yat-sen University. According to Global Views Monthly's survey, Taiwan Tech is the only top-ten university with an annual budget of less than 4 billion NT dollars, demonstrating strong teaching, research and development, and industry-university collaboration capabilities despite relatively limited funds, and its performance is quite impressive.

Additionally, in the mutual evaluation of university presidents, Taiwan Tech is even more competitive in the eyes of the presidents and ranks fifth, second only to National Taiwan University, National Cheng Kung University, National Tsing Hua University, and Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. President Jia-Yush Yen emphasizes the importance of technical and vocational education in Taiwan, but it has gradually fallen into a disadvantaged position in society. Students are increasingly choosing to attend comprehensive universities before considering technical and vocational universities. Therefore, he urged the presidents of technical and vocational universities present to collectively “change parents’ stereotypical impressions of technical and vocational universities!”

President Yen also expresses gratitude to partners like the National Taiwan University System, Taipei Medical University, and other partner schools for their cooperation. In the future, Taiwan Tech will continue to enhance educational quality, strengthening research and development capabilities, promoting industry-academic collaboration, providing students with a better learning environment, and nurturing internationally competitive talent responsive to societal needs.
